In this program you will work from lithographs, plaster casts, and finally from still life. The final goal of this program is to learn to create finely rendered, complex, still lives in full oil color.

In this program you will work from lithographs, plaster casts, and finally from still life. The final goal of this program is to learn to create finely rendered, complex, still lives in full oil color.

Academic Year Pre-Enrollments (Before Oct 13th & 14th)
We are currently accepting pre-enrollments for the start of the academic year, October 13 and 14th. Sign up now to reserve your spot in advance.
General Enrollments (After Oct 13th & 14th)
From then on, pre-enrollments will be closed. You will be able to enroll on any week of the month and you will begin class the same week you enroll. Reserving a spot in the future is not possible as spots are limited. In the case no spots are available, sign up for our waiting list and we will notify you via email a few weeks before a spot becomes available. The spot will be available for purchase starting the Monday before that class. Being in the waiting list will give you a heads up regarding the opening of new spots. The spots will be available to the general public on the website on a first come, first serve basis.
Each project can take anywhere from two weeks to two months or more, depending on the level of difficulty of the project and the amount of time spent on them. You can work additional time on by taking your project home or booking additional Studio Time.

    • 1 Graphite Cast
    • 1 Large Charcoal Cast
  • Level 2: Painting
    • 2 Grisaille (black and white) Oil Paintings of Casts
    • 1 Limited Color Palette in Oil, of either pear or onion
    • 1 Limited Color Palette 3 item Still Life in Oil
    • 1 Expanded Palette 5 item Still Life in Oil
    • 1 Expanded Palette Complex Multi Item Still Life in Oil
Subscription
We designed this system to keep classes affordable for everyone. Pay automatically once a week for the length of your class. Once the subscription is over you will be sent an email reminder with the option of renewing. You can subscribe at any time, even before the start of Class.
  • 4 Weeks at $55 per class week
  • 8 Weeks at $45 per class week (save $80)
  • 12 Weeks at $40 per class week (save $180)

  • If you pay by check, you must pay in full upfront. Spots will be reserved once payment has been received
  • Full Prices: 4 Week Class $220, 8 Week Class $360, 12 Week Class $480
Hours
  • Sundays 10-1pm from October 14th until July 21st.
There will be a holiday on the 25th of November, the 23rd of December, and April 21st. On those weeks, each holiday will have a makeup session the Wednesdays and Tuesdays before.
Materials
For your first day you will need
  • White or Cream Canson Paper
  • Straedtler pencils HB, B, and 2B
  • Kneaded eraser (grey), and a hard white eraser
  • Masking tape, sandpaper pad (from art store)
  • Exacto knife or box cutter.
Canceling Before Class Starts
  • Full refunds available only on Pre-Enrollments up to two weeks before the start of class.
  • Once the two week mark has passed, no refunds will be issued for any reason.

Canceling Midway
Note that canceling during your enrollment at any time is not possible. You will have to wait until the natural expiration of the Subscription. This policy is what allows us to offer you discounts on the 8, 12 and 16 week enrollments.
