Beauty in Simplicity: Figure Workshop

We often mention that a good drawing starts with a good block-in.
How do we make a great block in? That's what we are going to explore with this workshop!

We will make numerous different figure drawings from numerous models, bringing them each to different levels and practicing how to make block-ins that feel like finished pieces on their own.

This is an opportunity to further explore the ideas behind the beginning stages of a successful figure drawing.

We see this workshop as a natural extension of the Long Pose Program. This workshop is ideal for students already in the Figure Program or those looking to start.

To be eligible to attend this workshop students must complete a minimum of 4 weeks of class time in either the Cast & Still Life Program or the Master Study Program.
