Art in the Great Outdoors
July 8 @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
Inspired by John Ruskin’s beautiful watercolors of nature we are hosting this workshop to paint and draw the beauty of the wilderness of Missoula.
We will be teaching in Watercolor, but bring your favorite drawing or painting materials.
Use watercolor, oil paints, pastel, pencil, your choice!
Nature’s colors, lines, structure, and form are the same throughout all mediums.
There will be a brief lecture and demo once in the morning and once in the afternoon each class, plus individual critiques.
We will be in various locations so we will inform everyone of the location the night before via email. We may need to make last minute changes to the locations due to weather .
Bring your own materials or you can use ours for an additional fee of $10. We provide watercolor materials only, includes brushes, watercolors and color mixing palette, cup for water, and paper towels. Please let us know over email if you will need materials.
Sundays July 1st – 22nd 10-5pm
What You Will Need
Drinking water, sunscreen, hat, and a packed lunch, paper towels, scotch tape, and a lawn chair to sit. If you have a landscaping easel and wish to bring it with you that’s great, otherwise you can easily put a drawing board on your lap and work that way.
